Hello Families and Friends,
I will not be maintaining this website again until our district agrees on a contract with Portland Association of Teachers. Such tasks take quite a bit of personal time. Like many other teachers, I have dedicated countless unpaid hours to the classroom. While I remain committed to providing a quality education for your child, I feel I need to scale back from the “extras” that I do until I am working under a fair contract – this website is one of those things.
I appreciate the support that many of you have expressed. I hope that a fair agreement can be reached soon. I encourage you to contact PPS Board Members. Bridger is Zone 6, so Tom Koehler represents us, but contacting any or all of them is appropriate.
